Fifteen Years of Coffee Dates
How hundreds of cups across cities became a dream called HALT DAILY.
We didn't set out to build a café. We set out to find good coffee in every city we visited — and somewhere along the way, we found each other again and again over shared cups.
It started in 2011, in a small coffee shop neither of us remembers the name of. What we remember is the conversation: unhurried, honest, and warm in a way that only happens when you're not looking at your phone.
For fifteen years, coffee became our language. In Coorg, we learned what single-origin really means. In Amsterdam, we discovered that a cappuccino can be a form of meditation. In Mumbai, Berlin, and a dozen cities in between, we collected rituals — the way a barista remembers your order, the corner table by the window, the first sip before the day begins.
Each cup was a pause. Each pause was a choice to be present.
HALT DAILY is the dream we built from those pauses. Not just a place to get coffee, but a place to halt — to recharge before you continue. Because the best moments of our life weren't the ones we rushed through. They were the ones we paused for.
We can't wait to share that pause with you.
